the components:

• Brown rice, soy protein concentrate, coconut oil (preserved with a blend of tocopherols), dried milk, cane sugar, dried beet pulp (de-sugared), calcium phosphate, banana, flax seed, casein, dried yeast, dried whey, calcium carbonate, salt, algae meal, macadamia nut oil, dried skim milk

• Before hand-feeding your baby bird(s), we recommend that you have the following items at your disposal: A clean, sterilized mixing bowl to mix the hand-feeding mixture with water
• Provide a warm place (bed) to keep the young birds warm after feeding.
• Plastic syringe to draw the food mixture into it
• Thermometer to measure the temperature of the water mixed with food, paper towels.
  

Preparation method:

• There are some important steps to follow when preparing the formula.
• We recommend using filtered water that has been heated to 120°F (49°C).
• If you are not sure that the water has reached the required boiling point, boil the water for at least 10 minutes, then allow the water to cool to 120°F before mixing it with the food powder.
• We do not recommend using a microwave to heat water or food powder, as microwave heating can cause uneven heating, which can be dangerous.
• Use the table below to determine the ratio of mixture to water for your bird.
• Note that the ratios listed are suggested guidelines and may be modified based on age, health, bird species, and environmental temperature.
• Once it is well mixed with a spoon, let the mixture "rest", then measure the temperature of the mixture until it is between 102°F - 108°F (39°C - 42°C). This is the recommended temperature.

Nutrition:

Important note: Each meal should consist of 8% to 12% of the chick's weight.

*From hatching until 2 days old

• This stage is considered the stage in which the bird needs water the most.
• Therefore, the product is placed with water in a syringe at a ratio of 1 gram per 4-6 ml of water.

* 5-2 days of the bird's age

• At this stage, the bird needs to be fed with the food mixture more than ever.
• Therefore, the mixture is placed at a rate of 1 gram per 3-4 ml of water.

* From 5 days old to weaning age

• More product is mixed with water to make a creamy consistency.
• Mix at a ratio of 1 to 1.5 - 2 ml of water.

Other important nutrition tips:

• A newly hatched baby bird needs to be fed every two hours and the period will slowly increase as the bird grows to become 6 to 8 hours.
• Monitoring the bird's weight every morning is one of the most important ways to monitor the bird's metabolism.
• If you feed the bird and notice after two hours or after a specific number of hours that the crop is full, you must make sure of:

1. The temperature in the incubator is suitable.
2. Dilute the mixture at a rate of 1 gram per 3 ml of water for 24 hours, then return to the normal concentration specified in the table within the next 24 hours.
3. If there is no improvement in digestion within 36 hours, consult your veterinarian immediately.

Important Warnings:

• The mixture is given orally directly using a syringe. We make sure that all the air is out of the syringe before giving the product orally to the bird.
• Always place the syringe and feed the baby bird from the left side of the bird's mouth so that the mixture goes down to the stomach.
• Do not put the syringe and feed the bird from the right side of the bird's mouth so that the young bird does not choke due to the mixture going down into the lungs.
